Busy is the only word for it

I know it has been a while but we have been incredibly busy that is crazy we could be so busy.

L and K both finished out the kids Wednesday Night church programs as of this past Sunday. K made her acting debut in the X-Factor at our church. She did incredible. She is one of a very FEW second graders chosen to ever get a part in the program so it was a big accomplishment and we were REALLY proud of her. The pictures are at the end. Miss L is not at the age where she gets to perform in the big play yet....that comes with frist grade so she is excited.

We were so busy with the kids play that we have tried to take it easy this week only to have Miss K come down with some kind of bug that she is currently fighting. She has had a fever between a 100 and 104 for 24 hours now. So either that will break tomorrow or she will have to go for blood work on Friday because all other tests have come back negative with the doctor currently.

School is FINALLY wrapping up for me and finals are next week. I am so ready for this semester to be over as I took a little of a U Turn in my studies this semester and I am ready to get back on track in the fall.

Everything else as been great and I promise if K is better there will be a sports update this weekend.

Told you

In my previous post I told you I would post about Easter. So please be impressed that you got 2 posts in one night....don't know if that will ever happen again.

We had a great visit from the Easter Bunny and didn't do as much candy this year since Miss M now has Diabetes. I have since gotten ideas on even less candy baskets from all my "blog" friends that I actually can't wait until next year now.

We went to the 11:00 hour at church, which was AMAZING (it rained on stage during the last song). We then proceeded to head over to Mimi and Papa's for lunch where we enjoyed time with each other, Jason, his brothers, Papa, and Miss K and Miss L all enjoyed playing wiffle ball in the backyard after our egg hunt of course. Then we just hung out until 8:00PM when we decided to finally return home. It was a great day.

Miss M didn't do well yesterday with everybody's schedules returning to normal and no one being home with her except me. It was true delight when her sissers got off the bus yesterday afternoon.

Once again I am asking everybody to please keep my brother in law in your prayers as he is still having a hard time with everything going on in his life. He looks discouraged and depressed alot so any prayers that can be sent up for him would be appreciated. His wife is also in need of many prayers as she is choosing a different path for herself. This is hard on all us but not nearly as much as on Jeffrey.
Until next time.....

Spring Break

We were so busy last week that I am still trying to catch up on all my blogs that I "stalk" that I had forgotten that I haven't posted in a little over the week.

We had a fantastic Spring Break with Jason being home all week. A friend of the girls spent the day and night with us on Monday and into Tuesday. On Wednesday we went and had lunch with Mimi, Thursday was the earliest day of all as we had to drive an hour away to Peachtree City to meet Miss M's new diabetes doctor....which was SO worth the drive. I am so impressed with a doctor that blocks off a whole hour to get to know you and your child and answer your questions and then proceeds to give you his home number if we were to need advice or help after hours. We then proceeded to take the girls bowling after we got back which was alot of fun considering the girls had never been. Then on Friday I took the girls to see the new Hannah Montana movie which was surprisingly good. I have been a little irritated with Miley Cyrus lately but this was really good and I was impressed.

I really have some good pictures of our bowling adventures but I can't figure out how to post them anywhere but at the front of the blog and that's not where I want them so if I learn how to post them any other way I will eventually add them.

Easter post is coming up so stayed tuned.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We have finished another week of school and are looking forward Spring Break this week from school. We are especially looking forward to this week because Jason's company has decided not to strike. Even though the strike would not have necessarily affected Jason, it would have affected have family life as Jason would have been required to work 12 hour days 6 days a week. This can be hard when you are a one car family with 3 kids. We have been without our second car since the end of January and we have been able to handle it but it would have been hard to get the girls where they needed to go (sports, doctors, church, you get my drift).

Even though we are not going anywhere this week we are going to enjoy each other. I am going to work on the house, we plan to have a friend over for the girls tomorrow, we plan to go bowling, and while Jason goes to the Braves game on Friday night with his brother, Jeffrey, I plan to take the girls to the movies while Miss M stays home with Grammy. Miss L has been asking to move rooms this weekend so she and Miss M are going to change rooms so I have a big task ahead of me this week getting that done.

Finally, tonight we were able to get together with Jason's family and even the first night of baseball season. We are a HUGE baseball family so this is our favorite time of year. We try to watch as many games as possible so this is a good night to get started.

I am asking that all of my readers please send up a couple of prayers for my brother in law, Jeffrey. He is going through some life changes right now as his wife has decided to end their marriage after almost 5 years so it has been a difficult time for him. So any extra prayers would be appreciated.

Until next time....
