What A Week.....

The past 10 days have been crazy that even though I read and kept up with blogs, I have not kept up with mine.

Miss M is 95% potty trained which I am very excited about just need to work on 2 others things (I will leave that to your imagination).

We had VBS at church last week and on Thursday they had wacky hair day and this is what we came up with

Later that night we celebrated the 31st birthday of this special person

I have been in love with him since I was 17 years old and wouldn't trade my life for anything. I am honored for him to be the father of my daughters and love to think that I will spend the rest of my life with him. Happy Birthday J

The next weekend we celebrated Father's Day. Dumb me didn't take any pictures but we had a great day. That morning at church we were honored to have a 24 voice choir from Kenya the kids are all between the ages of 8 and 13 and most of them are orphaned or close to being orphans. While they were there we had the honor of "adopting" one child and will be charge of that child's basic needs until they complete high school. So in true O'Kelley fashion we "adopted" a 9 year girl named Diana. The girls are looking forward to watching her grow.

Finally....yesterday this special little thing had her special day

Our baby is now 3. It is hard to believe that our lives have been blessed with her for 3 years and I love her so much. She has changed so much but she has changed the most in 6 months since being diagnosed with Diabetes.

We love being her parents

Until next time.....oh and school starts back in 48 days let the countdown begin. :)

Brad and Mandy

This weekend we had the honor of attending the wedding of Jason's cousin Brad and his new wife Mandy. Jason actually had the honor of playing for the wedding so the weekend was full of activities.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful except for the very rude wedding coordinator that the church provided. I have never met anyone so rude to complete strangers. I am so blessed to say that I do not attend that church.

Below is some pictures from our weekend and a new one of us.

Each layer was a different flavor

My girls absolutely love Mandy so for them to see her all dressed up was even a bigger treat for them. We had a really good time and wish only the best for them.

Until next time......

Growing Up

So the Baby (miss M) is about to be 3 in two weeks and while I am sad to see her grow up she is learning SO much.

She can just about carry on a whole conversation with you.

The biggest step we have made is that we started potty training her yesterday and it was a very LONG day. Her sisters were REALLY easy Miss K was almost 2 when she trained and Miss L had just turned 2 so waiting til she was three was a big change however, she showed no interest and my pediatrician had warned us that it would be difficult with her Diabetes. Well, yesterday we went through about 30 pairs of underwear and today we have only went through 4. She really loves the idea so much in fact that over the last hour she has went every two minutes. Jason says she has leanred the system of how I give her just 3 M&M's every time she goes but hey it's working so I will stick with it.

I know we haven't updated we have been pretty low key so there hasn't been much to say but we have alot of birthdays and a wedding coming up so maybe I will be able to update some.

Today would have been my dad's 63rd birthday and I miss him more and more everyday. It is hard to believe that he died 4 years ago already.

Today is also Mimi's birthday (Jason's mom) so we are celebrating with her at her favorite place to eat.

Have a great day
